Greetings!

Hello!

How are you doing this week?  Warm one day, and cold the next.  At least the sun is shining.  It was great to have the girls / ladies from Greenville College lead our worship this week.  It is important we make every opportunity to encourage our young people to use their talents for God.  We have been blessed to have several of our youth share so far.  Daniel on the trumpet, Angela singing, Neal on the trumpet, Alexis on the flute, and this Sunday is Nathan on the trombone.  If you have a gift let me know when you would like to share with us.  Pray you have a great end to the month in all you do!

See you Sunday!

Pick a Church ANY Church
 Lebanon Ministerial Alliance

For Easter we will be working with other churches in town help get visitors into our local churches.  We are having yard signs made up that say "Pick A Church ANY Church www.LebanonILChurches.org."  When you view the website it lists all the churches in town along with contact information, website links, etc.  The idea is to get people into a church, whether ours or not, we can be happy they are in a Bible believing church.  I would like to get 15-20 signs out in our personal yards.  If you would like a sign please see Pastor Brian.

Baptism
The Baptism of Jesus
Matthew 3 13-17

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"  Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented.
As soon as Jesus was baptized; he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

Baptism the definition.... The immersion or dipping of a believer in water symbolizing the complete renewal and change in the believer's life and testifying to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the way of salvation.

We will be having a baptism service in the very near future.  If you would like to be baptized or have questions please contact Pastor Brian.
